a waxed pale ale? really? slightly gritty, earthy. orange-y. interesting. delicious. fruity. almost in-line with the new 'juice bomb' line up..... overall, a great brew..... usually dont expect much from the collaborations....

750 ml bottle, no bottled on date. Just released Saturday at Pale Pauper Day (which i was not able to attend). Snagged my bottle not from Fischman, but from my local bottle shop in the suburbs. Huge thanks to Mikerphone for distributing this across their regular distro footprint. "A Collaborative American Pale Ale" between Mikerphone Brewing, Beer Karma, SlapShot Brewing, & Fischman Liquors. Blue wax.

A - A bright juicy golden orange pour, two fingers of frothy soapy white head that leaves tons of huge sticky scattered lacing. Looks truly excellent.
S - A beautiful fresh, fruity, floral aroma. Tons of huge fresh floral hops (smells like Mosaic) are apparent. A bit of subtle pale / bready malts are in there for balance. Tons of huge tropical fruits & berries on this one.
T - Taste follows the nose: an absolutely delicious nectar. Huge fruity & floral hops: huge notes of mango, peach, guava, orange. Ridiculously fruity & tropical; this thing literally tastes like a glass of juice.
M - Feel is ridiculously smooth, crisp, creamy, fruity, juicy, nectary, piney. Semi-dry / resinous on the finish, begs the palate for more deliciousness. Light-bodied with excellent carbonation. Hugely quenching & sessionable. I think i'm going to give it the 5 for feel.
Overall, an amazing beer from Mikerphone. Hugely drinkable / sessionable. Hugely delicious / juicy / nectary. One of the best beers Mikerphone has put out yet, out of an already swelling line-up of amazing beers. Highly recommended stuff, exponentially stoked to have gotten a bottle, and i hope you all got yours too!
