Bottled 3/16/17; drank 3/20/17 @ the Palace.

Cloudy orange/yellow appearance.

A rough pour yielded a HUGE, noisy bright white head; decent lace.

Banana, wheat, mild orange citrus & faint clove notes in the nose.

Medium thin mouthfeel.

Banana & mild orange citrus flavors up front; mildly dry wheat & saison-like yeast notes on the finish.

Pleasant & quaffable but not very memorable.

I received this from @swenny916 in a BIF box. Poured from undated 12 oz. bottle into pint. glass. It pours a cloudy, golden yellow with a half finger of bright white head and a thin coating of soapy lacing. For a wit it's quite floral and fruity in its nose. Lots of orange peel and Belgian spice with a distinct smell of Mosaic hops. When first sipped the first thing I notice is the orange peel and coriander; it starts with a distinctly Belgian taste. At mid sip there's a lot of wheat cracker but it ends with Mosaic, one of my favorite hops, which is more flavorful than bitter and really adds to the witbier. The mouth feel is crisp, dry, and light, with pleasant carbonation, and at only 5% ABV (per the bottle) it's a super easy drinker. Mikerphone Brewing has done a very nice job with this witbier.

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle.

Pours a slighty opaque tangerine color with a two finger foamy white head. A very tropical smell with mangoes and citrus coming to the forefront. Taste is much more session IPA than anything else mirroring the smell. Light mouthfeel and very easy drinking. A nice beer, but the hops definitely stand out making this more of an IPA.

Tasted in a globe tumbler from draft at the Mikerphone tap room on April 13, 2017. Look is slightly hazy gold orange with a medium white head and spotty lacing. Smell is tropical and citrus fruit, floral and a bit of spice. Taste is juicy and fruity with coriander and bitter citrus rind. Feel is light to medium on body with a crisp finish.

Look: Very pretty to look at. Pours a slightly hazy orange with a finger of head; definitely has the look of an IPA.
Smell: Tropical citrus.

Taste: Like an IPA masquerading as a witbier; the coriander and orange here is par for the course, but the Mosaic hops blow this one into uncharted territory. I'm honestly not familiar enough with witbiers to know what this is supposed to taste like, but whatever it is, it's fantastic. This reminded me of the Northeastern juice bombs I've come to love from Treehouse and Trillium; hop-forward, with a chewy, citrusy finish.

Feel: Bright, chewy, and juicy.

Overall: This beer was my introduction to Mikerphone, and if this is what one of their witbiers taste like, I can't wait to try a real IPA. Far exceeded my expectations. I'll definitely be looking at Mikerphone to satisfy my juice bomb needs!
