"Batch #2". Bottled 8/4/16; drank the same day @ the Yarchives...as fresh as it gets!
Opaque dull orange appearance.
A rough pour yielded a big off-white head; a thick curtain of lace.
Pineapple, sweet mango & fresh cut grass notes in the nose.
Medium thick mouthfeel.
Dry mango & mild banana flavors up front; cotton-mouth inducing dry grass notes on the finish.
This had a great nose, but the brutally dry finish was unpleasant. A miss.

Cloudy light orange, frothy edges with some spotty lace. Mellow aroma with some herbal vegetal notes.
Taste is firmly bitter, oddly minty and vegetal with an aspirin-like bitterness. Light bodied with a very dry lingering bitter aftertaste. Can't say i'm a fan, not balanced and lacking hop flavor. Nothing unique about this at all.

smells like a super sweet ice cream bomb pop on the pour. super juicy with lots of different juice flavors. lots of alcohol heat in the flavor. really nice rendition of the new direction the IPAs appear to be going....

750 ml bottle, no bottled on date. Bottled three days ago (Thursday) and consumed today (Sunday). The freshest hottest IPA in Chicago, Batch #2 of Mad Flavor - a "Double Dry-Hopped India Pale Ale".
Poured into Mikerphone Brewing stemware.
A - Pours hugely hazy and juicy golden orange nectar. One finger of frothy white head that stays awhile, leaving excellent scattered strands of sticky lace everywhere. Looks excellent.
S - Aroma is insanely huge, juicy, & tropical: strawberries, bananas, peaches, mangoes, oranges, papaya, guava, Flintstones vitamins. Absolutely bursting with mouthwatering fruity deliciousness.
T - Taste follows the nose: straight up juuuuuuiiiiiice: strawberry-banana, mango, papaya, peaches, guava, nectarine, some residual earthy citrusy pulpiness. Some residual earthy, dry yeasty flavors are apparent once they become noticeable. This straight up tastes like a strawberry-banana fruit juice smoothie in beer form. Delicious.
M - Feel is extremely ridiculously smooth, juicy, & easy-drinking. This thing is more like drinking a pureed fruit juice nectar than it is akin to drinking regular beer.
Overall, Mikerphone continues to kill it. I feel like this batch is a bit more "yeasty" than Batch 1, but it's hard to say. Either way, it is remarkable stuff.
Mikerphone Brewing Mad Flavor Batch Number Two -----4.5/5
