Pours a very hazy gold/amber with a thumb+ of cream colored head. Pretty good head head retention, fantastic lacing

S: Grassyness, green melons, faint tangerine

T: Green melon, tangerine, strawberry & a little sour orange as well up front. sweet and sour orange, limes more green melon as this warms, along with a little dryness to go with all that juice. finishes with some dryness, sour orange, pink grapefruit, lime & some pine

MF: Medium body, creamy carbonation, stellar balance

Super offering, blown away by all the flavor & juicyness

Bottled 8/18/16; drank 8/19/16 @ the Yarchives...one day old!

Opaque dull yellow/orange rust appearance.

A rough pour yielded a big eggshell head; frothy lace.

Banana, mango & mild ginger ale notes in the nose...enticing!

Medium thick mouthfeel.

Banana yogurt & mango flavors up front; ginger ale effervescence & faint grass dryness on the finish. Faint booze heat emerged as this warmed.

Juicy, bold & a touch dry; upper echelon NE IPA flavor.

Now this is a hazy dipa! Pour is a opaque and hazy baise and brown mixture. The smell of hops duo permeates with a wonderful fruit trio of pineapple, orange, and a ton of grapefruit. Body has a very nice hop lusciousness to it. Fruity, hoppy, hazy, and smooth.

I received this from @swenny916 in a BIF box. Poured from 750 ML bottle into Spiegelau IPA glass. The color is really unique: a murky, dirty orange that is almost brown, with over a finger of foamy, bright white head and soapy lacing. It's so attractive I almost don't want to drink it. The nose is also intriguing; not a lot of fruit but the hops are quite floral. Wow, this is delicious! The primary tastes are pineapple and lemon and the combination of Motueka (a favorite of mine) and Galaxy hops is delicate but highly flavorful and compliments the tropical taste perfectly. There's very little bitterness and a clean finish. This ale is medium-bodied with pleasant carbonation, and it's dangerously drinkable at 8.5% ABV. Overall, I like everything about this DIPA. The appearance is unusual and it's super flavorful. Basically, a fun beer to drink.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a 750 ml bottle on March 24, 2018. This looks, smells and tastes like total shit. This is not the first time I have had a bad bottle from Mikerphone. Buyer beware.

Possibly the best Illinois-made NEIPA I've had, and I grew up in Lombard and am heavily partial to Noon Whistle. Pours a luscious, pineapple-juice color with strong, persistent head. Nose is all citrus. Flavor is amazingly juicy, citrus, pineapple, etc. Very low hop bitterness on the front end, and a clean finish. Excellent beer. I often protest the price of bombers. This is worth $13, all day.

Really spectacular. Testifies to the fact that you don't need to look like a glass of pond scum to be aromatic and brilliant. No lacing is a small detriment. Brilliant aroma ... cut grass (or, rather, cut everything ... branches, vines, etc - there's a woody and herbaceous note that goes beyond grass), passion fruit (rind and all), lime, green pepper, kiwi. Beautiful - pungent, fruity, subtle. Flavor follows. I get the impression they're not trying to make a style of beer as much as they're trying to respect ingredients; evoke what galaxy and motueka want to express. This ... is a kind of terroir based artistry.
