Canned on: ??????

A - Milky opaque medium golden orange color with thin lacing that rides of the sides of the glass and looks bigger than it is.

S - Aroma is citrus soft with a shot of stone fruit.

T - Somewhat citrus vinous that's both earthy and fruity with subtle pine resin on the back side and a slight bit of spiciness.

M - BIG pillowy soft and chewy mouthfeel that finishes dry on the palate with a slight bit of wetness entering after the sip.

O - Rock solid.

8/11/19 (Chicago): 16 oz undated can purchased for $5.25 can at Beer on the Wall on 8/3/19, poured into a tulip glass. Golden murky straw pour, creamy white head leaves generous lacing. Sweet tropical fruit aroma, tangerine, pineapple and grapefruit. Off tasting beer, bland bitterness slight sweetness prevails. Slight carbonation holds, bitter off-putting aftertaste. Overall poor offering.

16oz can, no apparent freshness date. Foamy cream colored head falls to a thin layer atop an opaque tangerine colored ale. Juicy, tropical and zesty fruit aroma hinting at citrus and piney mango. Very hop forward in flavor with orange & grapefruit zest, pungent pine, mango, and some fresh grassy green hops. Full body, creamy and smooth but then it gets resinous, moderate carbonation, pungently bitter finish with hop oils sticking to the palate. Awesome beer - happy to try it!

I like the dry bitter aftertaste. It’s full bodied for an IPA. More West Coast IPA than NEIPA but not quite as bitter as an old school IPA. High marks as Mikerphone usually gets from me for their IPAs, but not their best one. Would get again though.

Disclaimer: I love simcoe hops. So naturally this dry hopped simcoe bomb was a hit for me. Dirty golden pour with thin layer of clear bubbles. Smell is herbal, grassy and dank, with some grapefruit, lemon and tropical hints. Taste is sweeter than smell would indicate, with tons of sweet citrus, sticky malt, and some lingering dank hops. Dry hopping makes the feel fluffy and smooth. Nice work, though somewhat monochromatic, I really thought it did well to bring out accenting flavors
