Murky golden yellow color. Aroma of tropical fruit. Flavor is lots of tropical fruit with some citrus. Sweetness dominates, with bitterness playing second fiddle. Bitterness is pleasant, hanging around for quite a while with that sweetness. ABV is apparent to me, even though it's not that high for a double/Imperial. This beer is quite good.

16oz can, no apparent freshness date. Murky yellow-orange body, totally opaque and capped by a thin frothy ivory colored head. Citrus and tropical fruit hop aroma. Nice juicy flavors of tangerine, grapefruit, green hops, guava, and faint papaya. Full & creamy body, soft carbonation, modestly bitter finish. This was great! Say Uhh!

12/4/18 (Chicago): 750 ML bottle purchased 9/15 ($11.08), multiple pours into pint glass. Murky orange juice colour pour, light white quickly dissipating head. Light lemon and orange aroma. Nice lemon and grapefruit taste, slightly bitter and dry. Carbonation holds. Overall solid offering.

Enjoyed from a 750ml bottle procured less than a week ago from the source, but batch date unknown. Hazy but not opaque, especially when compared to some of Mikerphone's other NEIPA offerings. This one is decidedly more west coast in character, despite the cloudiness of the appearance. Grapefruit, lemongrass, and resin on the nose, more of the same on the palate with the addition of some pineapple and carambola notes near the finish. Also a bit of peppery spice and straw in the flavor profile, which provides some welcome counterpoint to the more traditional west coast DIPA notes.

Pours a cloudy yellow/orange, not a lot of head or lacing. Big juicy citrusy (lemony) smell, slightly dank. Taste is not as strong as the smell, slightly more bitterness than I expected. Very mouth filling feel, alcohol is disguised well. Balanced, flavorful, smooth.

Double dipping is never a good idea, but when you're making an IPA all of us hop heads will make a notable exception. Easily forgiven, the Mikerphone brewers dip their toe into Ella, El Dorado, Mosaic and Motueka hops not just once, but twice to create great juicy fruit impressions in a stern imperial IPA.
Pale golden and firmly hazy, the beer crowns with a creamy eggshell froth. Looking like fruit juice with extra pulp, the beer swoons the nose with host of citrus, tropical, berry and herbal fragrances. Its malty upstart is succulent with angel food cake, light caramel and honey, bring the floral character of orange blossom and fruit pastries close behind.
Shedding much of its sweet bulk, the ale dries slowly while retaining a juicy radiance of fruit forward flavors that seem nearly as strong as their aromas. Pink grapefruit, tangerine, lemon and lime bleed into the tropical taste of kiwi, pineapple, gooseberry and passionfruit before turning decidedly bitter yet smooth with freshly shaven sassafras, torn pine needles, grass clippings and a mild botanical nod to hemp.
Retaining an arid creaminess, Say Uhh! finishes dry and spicy on the heels of hop resins and alcohol along with the continuing developed taste that finishes with tropical fruit peels, citronella and the vegetal chlorophyll bite of hops. A long bitterness from the pieces and parts of citrus and tropical fruits are unabashed in a bitter bite that extends deep into aftertaste.
