16oz can
no apparent freshness date
thanks to Ken for the can to try!
L: loads of chunkies are suspended within a yellow colored ale; frothy ivory head.
S: zesty citrus, tropical fruit, faint spicy rye
T: flavor is better than the look and smell: tart passion fruit, zesty lemon & tangerine, melon, spicy/earthy rye
F: fuller body, ample carbonation, balanced finish with rye and zesty citrus lingering on the dry finish
O: it was off to a bad start, but it was actually pretty good. As I drink it, it’s listed as a DIPA, but I think it should be listed as NEIPA - I will do some research!

Orange juice pour with a thin, white head.
Wonderful, juicy hop smell with citrus fruits and melon.
Wonderful taste follows nose with just a bit of rye makes this awesome!

L: the juiciest of orange smoothie, white creamy head.
S: citrus fruit, orange, Lemon, but
T: sweetness and bitter combo. No alcohol or booze presence. Some rye in there.
F: medium juicy. Dry bitter finish. Crisp clean. Definitely a malty presence.
Overall: hard to pin down a specific hop or style. Pretty crisp and bitter with some sweetness. Very juicy and delicious. Makes me wanna hum semi-charmed kinda life.

Pours an opaque deep orange, nice head that stays and laces nicely. Taste and mouthfeel is great, the rye adds that creamy feel without sweetness, which I love in ipas. The nose could be stronger, but that taste makes up for it. Really good.

Appearance - The beer poured a hazy yellow color with a cracker white head.
Smell - Citrus notes really jump out in the nose, which seems to meld well with the rye notes.
Taste - Citra hops lead the way and work exceptionally well with the rye notes. There was some dankness which stood on a sweet malty backbone. The hops turned more bitter in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - The body was full, per the style. The profile was allowed to linger.
Overall - There are not enough good rye beers in 2020.

750 ml bottle into a tulip snifter. Had 10/26/17.
Nice looking. Pours a hazy yellow/orange, with a one and a half inch head of creamy foam and a good amount of foamy lacing. Aromas of grapefruit, pine, pineapple, some rye, some orange, light lemon, a little yeast. The rye pops into the drivers seat for the taste, and is more prominent as it warms. Also grapefruit, resin, pine, lemon- the Hallertau hops really show in the flavor, malt. A good amount of hop bitterness up front and in the aftertaste. Smooth, creamy, a solid light to medium body, well carbonated.
Each of the featured hops shows well, lots of good rye, great flavor. A solid effort and very enjoyable. Well worth a purchase.

It looks murky brown and orange with some dark streaks, not the most appetizing but it is hazy so that's cool. Smell is orange juice, supporting citrus and warm rye, balances well. Taste is heavier on the rye, has some pine, but still fruity up front. Feel falls a part a little in the end by thinning, but otherwise warm, smooth and decently textured from the rye and hops
