Tar black appearance with thin and disappearing brown head. Smell is sour raspberry, semi-sweet chocolate, and roasted malt. Taste is the same, only layered. Start with malt, then chocolate, a touch of vanilla cream and sugar, finished with bright raspberry, almost like the jelly filling from a donut. Feel is robust and smooth, especially for a milk stout.
