750 ml bottle into a snifter. Had 11/14/19.
Pours a dark brown, thick looking and opaque, with a half inch foamy head and foamy lacing. Aromas of maple, caramel, coffee, chocolate, light malt, lactose. The flavor is about the same- caramel, coffee, maple, malt, chocolate, lactose, some bitterness. Smooth, a little creamy, a solid full body, well carbonated.
Everything blends together wonderfully, distinct and flavorful. Maple and dulce de leche make a pretty solid team. It is sweet, but not cloying. Would buy this one again.

On draft at Mikerphone. Dark black body, cola brown head, one finger measurement, good retention with minimal lacing. Smell is candied caramel, espresso, mildly acidic coffee, medium maple sweetness, a fair bit of sweet milk chocolate. Really nice, sweet smelling even for ISLBS, yet reasonably balanced with the espresso. Flavour brings a bit more char and bitterness from the espresso/coffee, a bit more burnt and astringent. That being said, still reasonably balanced with the dulce de leche and maple syrup all contributing a fair bit of sweetness. Medium bodied, good carbonation, delicious maple and caramel on the finish.
