It did seem to have gotten the mild infection (so as to be a bit sour/tart), but it was a fairly good sour/tart. If they had done this on purpose, no one would have been unhappy with it.

Tasted in a tumbler from draft at the Mikerphone Brewing tap room on April 6, 2018. Look is dark brown with no head or lacing. Smell and taste is nothing special. Feel is a little flat.

On draft at Mikerphone. Served in a stemless glass. Pour is dark black body, one finger offwhite head, good retention and no lacing. Smell is moderate toasted coconut, a bit of vanilla, milk chocolate, black coffee, a bit of roast and dark fruit, a bit of nuttiness as well. A lot going on here; the coconut isn't a huge bomb like a Proprietor's 2013, but it's hard to miss. The adjuncts are giving off their individual contribution, and as a whole, it comes together nicely like drinking a candy bar pastry stout. This also goes for the palate as well; all the adjuncts play nicely together here, perhaps with a bit less vanilla than the nose would suggest. Fairly sweet but integrated without one adjunct dominating the others. Mouthfeel is full bodied, silky smooth and creamy, nice carbonation and a lot of flavours to take in on the backend but it is not a cloying beer by any means. Essentially a liquid candy bar.
