This was an interesting one in that the hops nor the tea really dominated, rather they melded together nicely. Hops took the foretaste and tea took the finish, yet in the middle a nice lemon, hoppy, fruity, tea and herbal concoction. Smell is more pleasant than taste to me, with taste have a little multivitamin in the aftertaste. Sticky in the body, that really stays on the palate, save for last beer of night

holy cow this is good! so much better than its ratings, i was really impressed with this, and in fact all the beers i had here at the brewery. this one is a hazy double ipa brewed with tea and a bunch of sexy hops. a really attractive beer in the glass, owing to a tall pure white belgian looking airy head on top of a uniformly hazy wheaty colored sunny golden orange brew. it smells like herbal tea right away, some bitterness there, white wine notes and tangerine from the hops, ripe peach, lemongrass, leafy greenness, peppercorns, soft key lime, and pungent earthiness, its incredibly complex and robust, but also somehow delicate for what it is, taste too, real hoppy but absurdly low bitterness for a double ipa, even a northeast style one. nelson prominent in the nose, more balanced hops in the flavor, and not just in the finish but all around and through it. apricot and nectarine and green grape and chardonnay and fruited green tea, delicious, bitter from the tea alone, and fresh as can be. round and pillowy multigrain body, no residual sugar at all. really flavorful and good, one of the better uses of tea i have seen in awhile and a perfect mix of hop varietals to accentuate it in this beer. unique and professional!

Tasted in a tumbler from draft at the Mikerphone Brewing tap room on May 25, 2018. Double IPA brewed with Tea-Vine tea and Nelson Sauvin, Enigma and Hallertau Blanc hops.
