Hauntingly sweet. It really does taste like a pina colada.... flavored lollipop, too much sugar resulting in it tasting really artificial. Even the wife thought it too sweet, and she loves all things sweet. The hops are present, but really only in the mouthfeel. They succeeded in what they were going for, which given the challenge is commendable. Just too sweet for me.

 

Tasted in a Rastal Teku glass from a 750 ml bottle on May 17, 2018. Brewed with vanilla, lactose, pineapple and coconut. Pretty tasty but not thick or hazy like a true milkshake.

Big pineapple, coconut, a bit of grain. Nothing too impressive, bitterness is very mild and this essentially brings out the pina colada flavours and not much else. Thin bodied, appropriately carbonated. In some ways, this doesn't even taste like a beer. But I'll give them credit for pulling that off.
