Poured brownish black with no foam whatsoever. The smell was a milk chocolate bomb, with hints of cocoa and dark chocolate. Taste is so damn sweet, too sweet. My teeth might be rotting out after having a few sips. Syrupy and oily, the body only adds more the the overwhelming sweetness

Too much chocolate, too much artificial flavors.

Tasted in a tumbler from draft at the Mikerphone Brewing tap room on May 4, 2018. Imperial Stout brewed with cocoa Nibs and chocolate syrup. Too sweet for my tastes.

This certainly looks the part, with a syrupy, gloppy chocolate brown body and little to no head.
Smooth and round, plenty of chocolate flavor envelopes the palate, while there is still room left for a bit of roast. Accents of vanilla bring a sweet tang with a sort of light sting of spiced rum, as a touch of roasted nuts come out at temp.

On draft at Mikerphone. 6oz served in the taster glass. Pours a dark cola brown body, nearly black, half finger offwhite head, short retention and not much lacing. Smell is heavy chocolate syrup, milk chocolate, a fair bit of white sugar, no roast or coffee, and an astringent cocoa which is far more apparent on the palate where there is a lot of artificial, sugary tasting chocolate syrup (as advertised, I suppose) and that astringent, dry cocoa on the backend. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, fair carbonation, with astringent, bitter cocoa on the finish without much from the syrup which seems to dry out the beer a little bit. A swing and a miss, though not a terrible beer by any means.
