From the bottle to a tulip glass that pours thick as mud. Dark as night with pinky-thick brown foam head. Strong coffee smell though the hazelnut takes some of the bitterness off. Sweetness up front that must be the maple but it doesn’t have time to differentiate before the coffee kicks in and last through the aftertaste. Really good beer, another really creative take from a really creative brewery!
