Really unique and interesting. Very dark and smells mostly like maple and peppers, and that's mostly what the taste is too. It's a little bit oily and moderately thick. A little bit sweet, but sweetness doesn't dominate. Quite spicy - one of the spicier beers I've ever had. The chicken/waffles flavors don't really come through until the very, very end when the pepper heat has worn off. And while this may be TMI, every time you burp it tastes like chicken and waffles. I'd definitely drink it again, but I don't think I could handle more than 4-6 oz. It's really spicy.

Tasted in a tumbler from draft at the Mikerphone Brewing tap room on August 13, 2018. Imperial stout made with chicken, waffles, maple syrup and spices. The maple syrup and spices overwhelm the other flavors.
