11/15/18 (Chicago): $12.19 750 ml bottle purchased 9/15 at Mikerphone brewery. Multiple pours into nonic glass. Darker orange pour, light white head and lacing. Tropical fruit aroma, apricot, peach and pineapple most prevalent. Taste consistent with aroma, very sweet. Somewhat tart taste, carbonation holds. Very sweet offering, more sweet than what I typically seek but if you like this style, it is a good offering.

750mL bottle, shared with my friend, Ken. Hazy apricot colored body, creamy beige head holds good retention. Sweet aroma with hints of tropical fruit - namely mango, peach, apricot, and pineapple. Sweeter flavors that taste like a fruit cup vs sweet fruit punch: pineapple, maraschino cherry, mandarin orange, peach. Fuller body, ample carbonation, finishes sweet. Way too sweet for my liking. I have a feeling they dumped gallons of fruit punch into this one in order to give it the fruit punch flavor and increase ABV with all that sugar to ferment. This was a big disappointment for me.

 

 

 

 

 

Tasted in a Rastal Teku from a 750 ml bottle on August 13, 2018. This fruit punch inspired double IPA has a nice hazy red appearance and pleasant fruity smell. Far too sweet for my tastes though.
