Love both mikerphone and narrow gauge, but this one is not either of their best work. Super hazy tangerine pour with ring of white bubbles. Smell has grapefruit, orange, really bitter hops, and a breadiness that seems misplaced. Taste has a sandy aftertaste that is unpleasant, with the fruits being completely washed out by it, good hop resin before the aftertaste though. Seen listed as both dipa and neipa, but either way the body gives out way too fast in sip. Disappointment reigns here

Appearance - Pours thick dark yellow with a huge white soapy head. Great head retention and lots of sticky lacing.
Aroma - Floral hops, bready aroma, citrus peel, mild tangerine, grapefruit.
taste - Picking up alot of toast up front followed quickly by grapefruit, tangerine some mild mango kicks in toward the end. Really complex flavors.
Feel - Medium bodied really creamy and smooth, nice dry soft finish.
Overall - Really well done dry hopped DIPA. The flavors come through really well great mouthfeel.

9/22/18 (Elk Grove Village): $7 12 ounce pour into Mikerphone wine glass. Orange juice colored pour. Very sweet pineapple and citrus aroma and taste, slightly dry and bitter, nice clean crisp mouth feel, easy smooth drinking. Very nice balanced IPA, really liked this offering.

Released 9/21/18; drank 10/2/18 @ the Yarchives.
Opaque dull orange appearance.
A rough pour yielded a small white head; frothy lace.
Grass clippings, dry wheat & trash water notes in the nose. Yikes!!
Medium mouthfeel.
Grass clippings & rain water flavors up front; mild baking soda & faint trash / urban alley notes on the finish.
I can't imagine the mighty Narrow Gauge had anything to do with this being atrocious; maybe this is an attempt by Mikerphone to tarnish NG's reputation? I'm joking, of course, but this is an awful beer.

Tasted in a tumbler from draft at the Mikerphone Brewing tap room on September 21, 2018. Double dry hopped double IPA brewed in collaboration with Narrow Gauge Brewing Company. Disappointing.
