A good beer for a good cause! Brown with the edges like ice tea in clarity, pretty. Smell has the whiskey bitter smell really well, with robust brighter wood, really sweet cherry and orange zest. Taste is hard to believe I am having a beer. Little watery for sure, but the flavors of wood, bitters, and whiskey giving way to orange and cherry was well done. Very much like the cocktail. Had to dock points for the feel, but otherwise a whimsical treat

Wow - really good cocktail beer. Mikerphone nailed the bitters taste to go with the cherry and orange flavors. The color is an appropriate brown with orange highlights. The smell even nails the notes of a watered down old fashion - bourbon, rye or brandy. Easy to drink and is a little less nuanced as I pour toward the end of the 750. Great beer

Tasted in a tumbler from draft at Mikerphone Brewing on November 9, 2018. Old Fashioned inspired Berliner Weisse brewed with orange peel, maraschino cherries and oak spirals. A collaboration with Andrew McMahon for his Dear Jack Foundation Charity.
