Love certain aspects, not wild about others. Appearance had cloudy and thick black layers in the body with tan foam. Smell is roasted malt, cream and blackberry, very streamlined, wanted a little more intensity. Taste was pleasant in that the blackberry was not overpowering but very much present in a starring role. Semi-sweet chocolate, roasted malt, booze and lactose supporting well. Feel is a little watery though not thin, creamy but some grainy textures, could be refined.

Tasted in a tumbler from draft at the Mikerphone Brewing taproom on March 23, 2019. Double milk stout brewed with cocoa nibs and blackberries. Very sweet.
