Had on tap. Pitch black body with a finger of brown foam. Sugary vanilla and cocoa nose. Taste has the dark cocoa, sweet vanilla cream, fudgey pudding and a light touch of gummy fruit, it is sweet but surprisingly works. Feel the sugar begins to overpower however, thinning the body. Tap room delight as it is excellent for an ounce or 5, but the more had the flaws start to exacerbate. A unique dessert stout to share

poured from a 16oz can into a snifter. pours a shiny dark brown but gathers in the glass black with minimal mocha brown foam. getting mostly gummy worms on the nose with a hint of chocolate sweetness. to be honest, it’s not much to smell. kind of a conglomerate of artificial sweetness. it doesn’t smell bad; it just doesn’t smell like anything recognizable.taste, although sweet, is much more “balanced” in that i get chocolate pudding, sweet fruit gummies and a touch of cookie. it has a full mouthfeel but due to the cookies and / or gummies gets a little spritzy on the finish (much like i recall Bro’eo being from Pulpit Rock, which this beer totally reminds of a Pulpit beer). pretty enjoyable in small doses. would have been happy with even less than half the can.
