Sampled in a taster glass from draft at Mikerphone Brewing on May 17, 2019. Look is muddy brown with little head and no lacing. Pleasantly surprised by the nose and taste. Feel is lighter in body than I was expecting.

A persistent creamy tan film and thick collar rest over a dull black body with clear purple edges.
Sweet but thin, the raisin is more like grape candy and gummy worms. Combined with the Brown ale element and it's like eating a dirt cup. It even almost has a grape cough syrup flavor to it. I'm not really getting any oatmeal cookie character, and there's a mildly sharp acidity to the brown malt. Yuck!
The soft light carbonation finishes semi-dry and surprisingly not sticky--must be Listermann offering some restraint. Too bad the overall beer tastes terrible.
