Remember when Jamie from Craft Beer and Brewing Magazine came out to brew with us? Well, SKA-TASTROPHE is ready! A carmelita-inspired session pastry stout, this easy drinker (6.5%) was brewed with chocolate, caramel, walnuts, brown sugar, & vanilla. We get tons of chocolate and vanilla on the nose and up front, a lingering caramel on the back end, and a dryness that makes the walnuts pop. It's a light bodied dessert in a can and we're super proud to have brewed it with Craft Beer and Brewing.

Lighter black body with light brown cap. Smell stars walnuts and brown sugar, with some breadiness, caramel and dark chocolate. Taste has all of these elements plus vanilla and bran, within a bready and roasted matrix. Smoke comes out a little here and there. Sweet, bready and then intensely bitter. Can get what they are going for in a caramelita, but if I didn't know the objective I would have never guessed it. Feel is robust, dry, bready, and medium bodied. A fine pastry stout for a lighter dessert
