Had on tap. Though I love kringle, I am so glad I didn't buy a four pack years ago at the first release, as this is a taproom delight: good for a few ounces of sugary fun, but no depth or counter to the sweetness to cherish. The nose has the almond paste and sugary vanilla stars, but not much else can stand up against them. Taste has lightly tart but more so sweet big blueberry before the nose stars come in, met by buttercream frosting near the finish. Huh. Feel is muddled as it looks, just sugary and thick.

Pours a dark reddish tone with a thin layer of foam that quickly fades to a ring, no lacing. Clarity is good with a light haze.

Medicinal almond extract dominates the aroma, from a distance there’s a whiff of cheesecake but up close it’s harsh and artificial.

Tastes sort of like blueberry cheesecake, tart and creamy. Lactose, almond, blueberry. Artificial taste, thin with a creamy quality from the additives. Odd aftertaste. Little more than a gimmick... it tastes sort of like kringle, but it’s not something i’d want to drink again.
