We’d like to introduce Double Barrel Imperial Smells Like Bean Spirit, an imperial breakfast stout with Tugboat Coffee Sumatra coffee and maple syrup. It was aged for 16 months in two different sets of barrels. It first slept in Buffalo Trace bourbon barrels, and then finished in 18th Street Distillery rye barrels from our very good friend Drew Fox. While the adjuncts are present, the spotlight for this beer is on the barrels and they absolutely shine through.
