500 ml bottle into a snifter. 2023 edition, had 11/22/23.
Pours near black and opaque, with a flash of a head and a light, oily smear on the glass. Aromas of oak, roasted malt, bourbon, vanilla, some marshmallow and cocoa. Flavors of bourbon, vanilla, marshmallow, chocolate, oak, malt. Smooth, a very good full body, appropriately carbonated.
This was really good. It’s less sweet than I expected and far more balanced. The Smoke Wagon barrels are interesting and have a solid presence. The vanilla is delicious and prominent. Very enjoyable.
