Ok, so this pours a thick, smoothie like consistency. Needless to say, its completely opaque. the color is a drab, matte pinkish color. No head whatsoever. It honestly looks like a strawberry banana smoothie from McDonalds that has sat on the counter long enough for the blended ice to have melted. Its one of the ugliest beers I've ever poured.
Aroma has notes of strawberry fruit and mushed banana mixed in with some lactic yogurt like notes and a slight sourness coming through on the nose.
The taste largely follows that pattern. There are notes of strawberry, banana, greek yogurt, with a moderate sour note coming through towards the back end. What is missing here is anything reminiscent of a berliner weisse ... Im not getting any of the wheat malt base, and the sourness has a much more yogurt-y presentation although I think that is my mind driving that because of the strawberry banana flavors.
Feel is thick and smoothie like - you can literally feel the fruit debris in the beer. It is very smooth however the carbonation is rather prickly.
Overall this is an interesting beer - I'm honestly not sure if its supposed to be so reminiscent of a smoothie or not - but maybe add some protein powder to this?

Served from the can in a Lagunitas mason jar.
My woo needs no boosting, thanks, especially when it's John. Anyway, this stuff pours a swampy strawberry-banana-orange juice (it's good stuff, especially with breakfast!) topped by a half-finger or so of off-white foam. The nose comprises, unsurprisingly, strawberry, banana, light candied orange peel, and tart berry. The taste generally brings in more of the same, but everything is toned down here to a point that the tartness is only barely palpable. The constituent parts are certainly there, but I think they're being held under duress or something. The body is a lithe medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a fuller-than-average feel. Overall, a nice enough smoothie sour, but the smoothie aspect takes a bit too much away from the sour components for the total package to really work.
