L: A radiant lemon yellow hazy brew with two fingers of off-white foam, average retention, and some thin lines of lace.
S: Lemon curd, underripe pineapple, and dank rye. More pineapple as it comes to temp.
T: Following the nose. Definitely a RyePA, but the hopping choices for me don’t mesh as well as I’d like. I do like that overall it is a pretty dry beer.
F: Dry with ample carbonation on a light to medium body. For this one would have preferred a touch more weight and sugar/syrup to complement the rye.
O: Not bad. I love those who brave the rye. Not my favorite of style though, nor enough to repeat.

A: The beer is very hazy and a bit pale yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a narrow collar around the edge and some lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of gooseberry and lime are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has additional notes of melon and hints of lemon citrus. Little to no bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels nearly medium-bodied and very juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This New England IPA was very easy to drink and had a nice complex mix of flavors in the taste.

thanks to Ken for giving me a couple of cans to try
L: opaque & hazy yellow-orange body; frothy white head
S: pine, citrus, earthy rye
T: hop forward & bitter; earthy pine, earthy rye, grapefruit, passion fruit
F: medium body, moderate carbonation, bitter and dry finish
O: I wasn’t sure the rye would add much to this, but it makes it oh, so good
