An oat wine aged in tawny port wine puncheons that were sourced from Portugal. It has a full, round mouthfeel and body with notes of caramel and tawny port, and finishes with oak from the puncheons.

Curiosity got the beer drinker on this one. Dark brown opaque and murky body, no head. Nose is what it is supposed to be with how the sweet port, oat, oak, earth and very light toasted caramel interact. The taste however has metal and is super boozy, no nuance with the barrel at all, tastes out of its league with it to be frank, oat and earth attempt to bring back but the damage is done. Feel is hot, herbaceous, and medium bodied. Interesting but needs balancing
