Taste: spicy boozy, whiskey and bourbon notes, woody, malty. Bold wine and bourbon nose. Black, opaque, dark tan head, delicate ring of lace. Full to heavy body. Intense sipper.

Had on tap. Loved the Sir BAS and was very excited to try this! Did not disappoint as it too let the barrels shine. Lighter black with a brown cap. Aromas of rye whiskey, bourbon, darker oak, caramel, black strap molasses, slight anise and raisin, really lets us get into the depths of the barrels. Taste features more warm caramel/molasses than the sir, but still focused on the barrels for most of the sip, the oak does well to elevate the various booze, vanillins, and light earth. Feel is medium bodied with an emphasis on the oak with lots of booze warmth. Nice work ladies!
