No package date on can. From most recent release in the last week or so.
Really enjoyed this one. Saw it featured Riwaka hops so decided to give it a go. Has all the requisite NEIPA characteristics (haze, full mouthfeel, etc). Has a nice grapefruit and passion fruit flavor. Sweet but not overly sweet. One of the more enjoyable NEIPAs I've had this year. Well done.

A 16 oz. can from one of the sporadic Mikerphone drops.
The can pours that garbage orange juice that’s all the rage with the 25 year old crowd these days (it’s my damn lawn) with a big citrus & lemon hit to the nose. Nice beginning.
Raintop Drop Top has the funk of ten thousand years. Not a sour funk or a saison funk or a farmhouse funk, but perhaps a Prince funk. Underneath the bass line is hella citrus, citrus pith, 220 grit sandpaper & a finish of soft bitterness. Dry. And oh so drinkable.
Better than your typical NE IPA for sure – very good beer.

I love LOVE riwaka hops and so hearing that Mikerphone was finally releasing a beer with them got me excited as theyre one of my favorite IPA breweries. And they don’t disappoint. The Riwaka funk is there that makes it so unique. It has a great soft feel and wonderful balance of sweetness and bitterness. Would definitely buy again.

Surprised there wasn’t a review her for this one. A very good example of the style. Cloudy orange juice appearance, a very citrusy scent of orange juice, and tart and juicy citrusy lemon and orange juice tastes with a bitter dank undertone. Creamy, medium bodied, boozy feel. An NEIPA with a backbone, very enjoyable.
