L: cola colored body is capped by a massive, frothy, khaki colored head
S: roast & coffee aroma permeates the room while I wait for the head to calm down so it doesn’t overflow the glass; closer inspection reveals dark chocolate and nutty grain
T: fresh roasted coffee beans, chocolate, roasted barley, nutty grain, toffee, tobacco, earthy hops
F: medium body, ample carbonation, semi-dry & balanced finish with plenty of coffee notes lingering
O: one of the best l coffee beers I’ve had; coffee is front & center yet blends beautifully with the Schwarzbier notes
