look: 4.5 | smell: 4.5 | taste: 4.75 | feel: 4.5 | overall: 4.5
poured from a 500 mL into a snifter. pours jet black with no foam but some coconut floaties on top. huge coconut sweetness on the nose. it’s pretty sweet smelling but not artificial. a bit of chocolate and spirit barrel. taste follows with a massive punch of coconut followed by chocolate and whiskey. full, solid mouthfeel. not the thickest stout you’ll ever drink but certainly not the thinnest either. nice way to start to the set.
