poured from a 500mL bottle into a snifter. pours a shiny jet black with virtually no head to speak of. aromas of freshly roasted coffee, heavy chocolate and a lingering whiskey sting. taste is chocolate, caramel, coffee, oak, bourbon and even a hint of nuts. full mouthfeel. lower on the carb spectrum. slick and coats the mouth. this was an excellent sipper! a little colder it was a lot of coffee and dark chocolate but as it opened up there was a strong barrel presence in both aroma and flavor. the coffee lended noted of caramel and nuttiness. good stuff.
