Released 1/4/24; drank 2/2/24 @ the Yarchives.

See-through yellow appearance.

A rough pour yielded a big, noisy bright white head; decent lacing remained.

Dry wheat, mild soap & faint lemon notes in the nose.

Medium mouthfeel.

Corn, honey & cereal grain flavors.

I found this pretty sweet for the style; drinkable, but not one I'll return to.

16oz can
thanks to Ken for the can from his local brewery
L: highly carbonated and slightly hazed yellow-golden body with a foamy white head
S: doughy pale grain, crackery pilsener malt, grassy noble hops
T: herbal & grassy noble hops meld well with bread dough & cracker malt notes; faint lemon enters the picture on the back-end
F: lighter body, higher carbonation, slight hop bite on the semi-dry finish but it’s nicely balanced for a Czech
O: good representation of the style, and an easy drinker for sure

Aroma is malts and earthy/spicy hops. The flavor is mild fruit/citrus, malts and a spicy hop/beery finish.

Served from the can in a Lagunitas mason jar.

Pours a clear brass topped by a finger of lightly off-white foam. The nose comprises light lemongrass, mild cracker, and a touch of flowers. The taste holds notes of mild sourdough (alright, it may lean more toward white bread, but you get my point either way), lemongrass, light lemon zest, and a touch of pine needle. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a wet feel. A nice little bit of pils, though not one that sticks out amongst the crowd.
