My first barrel-aged Mikerphone, which all seems like a good idea. 500ML bottle.
Blacker than the soul of Chuckie, that dumb lying bastard, with an aroma dominated by bourbon. I likie.
Take The Barrel Back – Kentucky Straight is shy as an Aragon Bar worker (back bar, not out front). Harsh, riled-up barrel slashes across the palate & stings the bottom of the throat. Rolling malt sweetness underneath, mild chocolate. Rich. I could drink more than a few milliliters of this stuff. Sadly, I can almost see the bottom of my cup.
No choreographed dance moves here, just brute force barrel executed to a fine point. Excellent.
