500 ml bottle into a snifter. Had 10/27/23.
Pours near black and opaque, with no head and no lacing. Aromas of bourbon, figs, oak, vanilla, prunes, brown sugar, some caramel. The flavors mostly match the nose: bourbon, vanilla, oak, malt, figs, brown sugar, prunes. Smooth, a very good full body, appropriately carbonated.
Certainly barrel forward, but there’s lots of distinct aromas and flavors. Really tasty barrels. Best fully warmed. Very enjoyable.
