500 ml bottle into a snifter. A 2023 release, had 2/10/24.
Pours an opaque dark brown, with a brief head and some spotted oily cling. Aromas of roasted malt, vanilla, oak, chocolate, a hint of cinnamon, some bourbon when warmed. The barrels are more prominent in the flavor- bourbon, chocolate, vanilla, roasted malt, some oak, light cinnamon. Smooth, creamy, a very good full body, appropriately carbonated.
Liked this more and more as I worked through the bottle. Has a thick, full mouthfeel with great barrels that show best when it’s fully warmed. Lots of good vanilla, too. Very enjoyable.
