500 ml bottle into a snifter. Released 12/2023. Had 3/2/24.
Pours near black and opaque, with a quarter inch quickly dissipating foamy head and light foamy lacing. Aromas of bourbon, vanilla, malt, cinnamon, some leather and oak, light nutmeg and coconut. Smells spicy. The flavors are mostly similar: bourbon, leather, oak, malt, vanilla, coconut, light cinnamon, other spices. Has a spicy taste. Smooth, a very good full body, appropriately carbonated.
Great base beer, solid bourbon barrels, lots of baking spices from the Amburana- which is a wood that I’m a big fan of. Really enjoyable.
