500 ml bottle into a snifter. Had 6/14/24.
Pours a dark brown, opaque, with a quarter inch quickly dissipating foamy head and no real lacing. Aromas of vanilla, orange, chocolate, light rye whiskey. Flavors of chocolate, vanilla, malt, orange, some rye whiskey- more as it warms. Smooth, a very good full body, appropriately carbonated.
Very good. Focused aromas and flavors, solid base. The overall barrel presence is good but lighter than expected, with the Curaçao barrels best in the aroma and the Rye Whiskey barrels best in the flavor.
