Poured from a 500mL bottle into a Perennial SdC tumbler. Pours a thick, oily black with virtually no foam head. Strong barrel on the noise with light coffee and even some light dark fruits. Taste leans more towards chocolate and bourbon with even hints of vanilla. It drinks nowhere near its 15+% abv. Full mouthfeel. This was quite good. I swear all these Binny’s collabs bring out the best in these breweries. Have had collaboration bottles from More, Phase Three and now Mikerphone all within the last few months and they’re all stellar.

This is outstanding. A bit thick, a bit syrupy, but I have to say it’s overall a big woody vanillay bourbon with a definite rye presence. I thoroughly enjoy Mikerphone’s barrel aging program.
