Pours dark and thick looking with a large sized tan colored head on top. Looks like a great beer.
The aroma is sweet, malty, and of milk chocolate.
The frontal taste is very similar to it's aroma, lots of milk chocolate. The chocolate fades away to a heavily pronounced toasted coconut flavor that I find wonderful. Then the chocolate comes back. And then I dive in for more. Really this reminds me of a milk stout with coconut flavor added... but all I know for sure is that I like it.
This is a great beer. Where the chipotle peppers went? I'll probably never know. My girlfriend took a couple sips and said she could notice them, but I never picked up anything more than a faint hint of them in this one. I'd like to try this again, but with some actual heat next time.
