Lucy Anne Buffett, the original Crazy Sista, has crafted a brew just for her kindred spirits. Crazy Sista Honey Ale, made with Alabama wildflower honey and kissed with the southern sunset, is the smoothest thing this side of a sunburn.

I got a 6pck of this beer from the Back 40 brewery in Alabama. It poured a clear brownish amber with thin white head that is not leaving any lace. The scent had sweet notes of malt and molasses. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with honey presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a good beer.

Color is like aged honey. Lots of carbonation. Smells like a typical ale, but with a hint of...you guessed it honey. Taste is light with again, you guessed it a bit of honey. What jumps out to me is lots of carbonation. Good beer for what it is.

Very impressed with all of the regional brown ales available in gulf shores, but this one is really light. Almost like Newcastle made an "Ultra?"

I spent the day at the beautiful beach of Gulf Shores, AL, and now trying some local beers. Poured from a brown 12 oz. bottle. Has a bronze color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of honey, malts. Taste is malty, honey, light sweetness, very easy drinking. Feels medium bodie4d in the mouth and overall is a pretty good beer.

On tap at Lulu's in Gylf Shores, AL. Amber/copper in color, minimal head, decent lacing. Aroma is malty with a touch of cereal. Taste is malty with a hint of honey, nice nutty taste at the end. I really enjoyed this beer and would definitely get it again.
