Had a pint at the brewery yesterday on a visit with my brother. Beer is a rich chocolate brown with creamy tan head of about .5 cm. Cant see through the beer even when held up to the light.
Aroma is malty with lots of roasted notes and some bakers chocolate. No hint of any hops on this beer.
First sip reveals a fine mild carbonation and smooth texture. FLavor is about what is advertised by the nose with some bakers chocolate, roasted notes that are almost like coffee grounds, a bit of a chalky mineral flavor. Again no hop profile anywhere and the beer finishes very dry on my palate leaving a lingering roast flavor in my mouth.
Very easy to drink and quite enjoyable. A good example of the style from a newer brewery. Worth trying!

Great looking nitro poured...strong roast aroma...decent creamy body with semi dry smooth and creamy finish.
Taste is very good with roast and light mineral quality with light bitterness and very dry finish...Overall a solid take on the style
