Thanks to my bro for the growler. Poured into a snifter appears black with khaki head that fades to a thin film leaving spotty lace.
Aroma of green bell peppers, raison, char, slightly vegetal and mildly fruity. Not quite sure what is going on here.
Taste initially has a pleasant earthen roastiness, char, bakers cocoa and slight raisony fruity aspect before finishing like green bell peppers and other vegetal matter.
Light in body with modest carbonation. Not sure what is going on here...there is some pleasant roasty bitterness to this guy but the dominating characteristic seems to be quite vegetal and green in both flavor and aroma.
