Sampling a cold 16 oz can poured into my snifter. The beer pours a cloudy orange color almost like an orange juice. Bleached white fizzy head of 1 cm foams up and fades quickly to an edge layer and one large island.
The aroma on this one is a lot of fruit with orange and tangerine sweetness and a bit of tart grapefruit. I also get some mango or peach notes. No real hint of any booze on this beer from the nose.
The first sip reveals a smooth textured beer with very fine tingly carbonation that prickles across my palate on each sip. THe body is average on this beer and I find it easy to drink.
Flavor is big and fruity! Lots of tangerine and orange notes with hits of papaya or guava notes as is indicated on the can. Very tropical and sweet beer, even to the point of coating my lips after each sip with sweet flavor.
There is a just a bit of a rindy bite on the finish that lingers a bit and my palate also dries out after the swallow.
This is a bold fruit bomb with hidden booze and only a little bite at the finish. Very easy to drink and sweet. Be careful as the bottom of the can is pretty heavy with sediment cake.

I wish this wasn't a limited run beer because it was fantastic. Strong flavors of grapefruit, amazing citrus notes and you can really taste the guava. Hope this gets made again!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
