This clean, crisp, light lager is our go-to summer beer. Inspired by some of our favorite activities on Harrisburg’s City Island in the Susquehanna River, this Mexican-style lager is perfect for a day at the beach, the ballpark, or anywhere in between.

Sampling a chilled 16 oz can poured into my pilsner glass. No date stamp is on the label or can. Picked up at a local beer store in PA.
The beer pours a very light straw gold color and sits only slightly darker in the glass. Several very active streams of carbonation rise to the surface. I get a slightly frothy bleached white head of about 1 cm. This foam fades to only the thinnest edge layer very quickly after the pour.
The aroma is a little biscuity malt and some grainy corn notes mixing together. I also get very faint grassy hops. Overall the nose is very mild.
First sip reveals a light body with fine tingly carbonation and a smooth mouthfeel. Surprisingly fuller than I expected it to feel.
Flavor is a bit of toasted grain and bread notes mixing with some general sweetness and a bit of light fruit hit. This could be from corn. Not really any hop character at the end of the sip and the graininess lingers after each sip.
Overall, this is a pretty tasty and crushable beer. Could easily have many of these without the beer feeling too watery nor empty, glad to have picked this one up.
