Clear light amber with fizzy head no retention or lacing high carbonation from the looks of it, no real smell just a light barley smell, light roast taste good pilsner taste to it though, light body high carbonation

A: Pours a crystal clear pale yellow color. A two finger white head forms with good retention and lace.
S: I get lots of citrus and orange rind from the hops. Pale malts in the finish as well.
T: A fruity, citrus orange rind flavor again. Pale cracker like malts and lingering bitterness. The hop character makes this more of a Pale Ale than any Pilsner I have had.
M/O: A light to medium body. Good carbonation and fairly smooth, but doesn't have the clean bite I look for in the style. Though not hard to drink at all, just not a particularly good example of the style.
I find this slightly flawed in that the citrus like hops take over and make this more of an American Pale Ale. While not bad in any way, not what I am looking for with a German Pilsner. I guess I still don't get Mandarina hops and think they are closer to American C hops than the traditional European Noble hops I like in the style.

I like pilsners. But this is just meh.
Not a bad beer, but I find that the Mandarina hops seem to add too much citrus, orange. Overpowers most of the 'pilsner' aspects of the beer. Tastes good...just not like a Pilsner. closer to a nice pale ale in terms of a flavor profile, IMO.

Poured from can into tulip, good 1 finger cream colored head, soso retention, good lacing. Crystal clear, I mean really clear golden in the glass. Smells of cracker malt, slight citrus. Taste of clean malt up front, crisp cracker, slight citrus. Citrus comes out a little more in the middle and then it has a crisp mild bitter finish. Mouthfeel good, good carbonation, keeps things tingly. This is a nice beer to keep in my lager rotation in the fridge. Clean, crisp and easy on the palate
