L: only thing wrong with it is that I’d like it to be several shades darker or more amber. The haze is wonderful.
S: This is Nadia Comenici for hazed IPA. I can’t imagine anything better. It gives you all the foreshadowing you can stand. If it were any stronger, it would be too much; you’d think it was forced. I’m over half done with it, and I’m still sniffing it before every sip.
T: This is flawless. That is a strong adjective from me. For some people it might be perfect. My preference is a little darker, but there is NOTHING wrong with this as a hazed IPA. Perfect for me would be a tiny bit more roast, which would improve my L score too.
F: the effervescence is quite pleasant, but not something I look for in a beer. A notch heavier in overall feel would yield an even higher score.
O: I can’t think of a better hazed IPA that I’ve had. I’ve had plenty of average or worse hazies that I haven’t reviewed. This one made me sprint to Beer Advocate. If you’re between this and Ghost, or this and anything else in the region, this is the one you want. World class for the style, period. I ordered 2 in a row, which never happens.
