Pour is black with a dense, thick, creamy light cinnamon head. Excellent retention. Good lacing.
Nose is bourbon that is wonderfully balanced with dark chocolate covered roasted peanuts.
Taste follows. Upfront is roasted peanuts, followed by bourbon, dark chocolate, roasted malts, peanut butter appears in the finish. Very nicely made. Wonderful balance; the peanut butter is not overstated. Sweetens up a bit as the beer warms.
Thick creamy body. Great beer.
