The colour seems alright. A standard golden lager.
Tastes of, well, beer, just.
There is just something missing here.
Maybe in an effort to keep this midstrength too much malt has been sacrificed?
Maybe not enough hops were added to balance?
The claim is that this is a midstrength pilsner. A pilsner is such a finely balanced style that in making this a lower alcohol version something is missing. That's pretty much how I would sum up this beer.
A pity because they've done a good job with pretty much all their other offerings.
